Park Tool School 2025

Sweet Pete's is proud to announce the release of even more Park Tool School for the 2025 season! If you've ever wanted to know more about how your bike works, and how best to maintain it, our 5-class course is the best way to learn. Taught by our own professional bike mechanics, learn the ins and outs of your bike including gears, brakes, wheels, and more!

These sessions of Park Tool School will be a "novice-intermediate" level 1 course, suitable for beginners and amateur mechanics alike. While we are not able to offer an "expert" level 2 course at this time, we would certainly like to do so in the future, so please keep posted! All of our Park Tool School courses have a minimum age requirement of 16.

We'll be running one session on Saturdays and two sessions on Sunday. The Saturday session will run from 11 am to 2 pm, the morning Sunday session will run from 9 am to 12 pm, and the afternoon Sunday session from 2 pm to 5 pm. Each session will be limited to 4 people per class, ensuring ample time for instruction, questions, and practice. Each session will take place over 5 weeks with the Saturday sessions taking place on January 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th and Feb 1st, and the Sunday sessions taking place on January 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, and Feb 2nd. Please ensure you are able to attend all classes in a session - there will be no make-up classes, and due to the small class size, it is not possible to sit in on other classes to make up.

To sign up for one of these sessions just purchase a spot here online and we will get back to you as soon as possible to confirm the details. The course fee is $450 + HST, and includes the Park Tool Big Book of Bike Repair. Course participants are also entitled to a one-time discounted part and tool order. Please be advised that certain incidental parts may be required during the course (new cables, housing, brake pads, etc) and those are not included in the course fee.
