Profile's Stoker 26 Base Bar features a 26.0mm diameter the entire length across the bar, allowing the widest aero bar clamping area that Profile makes. This makes the bar ideal if you have a wide aero position or need a comfy stoker bar for your tandem. Made from double-butted 6061 aluminum, the Stoker 26 is light, not to mention shot peened and anodized for added strength and durability. Plus, it's pre-drilled for internal cable routing for aerodynamics and a clean look.
The Airwing has a deep drop to keep you in a wind-cheating aero tuck, making this a perfect base bar for triathlons and time trials. Made from double-butted 6061 aluminum, the Airwing is super light and boasts a wide clamping section that will accept any Profile Design clip-on aero bar. Plus, it's shot peened and anodized for added strength and durability and pre-drilled for internal cable routing for aerodynamics and a clean look.
The Zipp Vuka Alumina, crafted from 6066 series aluminum, offers a base bar with superior aerodynamics and ergonomics at an affordable price. - Handgrips are angled upward by 5 degrees for a natural wrist position when climbing or sprinting - Sleek with clean internal cable routing for easy installation
The drag-defying profile of Bontrager's Elite Aero VR-CF Handlebar is proven to save up to 23 seconds per hour over a traditional round handlebar. Take advantage of the shaped 6066-T6 aluminum and internal routing, and bring your ride's aerodynamics to the next level. - Custom-butted, 6066-T6 alloy construction - Variable Radius Compact Flare (VR-CF) increases wrist clearance for ergonomic positions - Compatible with clip-on aero bars - Aero drop bar profile is more aerodynamic compared to traditional round bars - Internal cable routing for Di2 and standard housing - Laser-etched brake lever position lines for spot-on control setup - UCI compliant
Get your next time trial or triathlon off to the right start with Zipp's VukaBull Base Bar. It's the first thing you reach for when you blast out of the start gate, so Zipp takes extra care with the carbon layup to ensure you have the lightest, most robust bar possible. The slightly concave nose section and forward-swept arms, along with the airfoil shape, reduce drag and stiffen the bar. Ergonomics are the key to comfort and speed, so it's available with a choice of zero or 40mm drop and the grips are angled up slightly for a more natural wrist angle when climbing and sprinting. Additionally, it has an extra wide aerobar clamping area for maximum versatility and adjustability.
Bontrager's Race X Lite Carbon Aero Bullhorn is light, strong, ergonomic and a great upgrade for your wind-cheating machine. Its hand-made OCLV carbon construction damps vibrations to quash road buzz and trims grams to give you the lightest aero setup possible. This UCI-legal base bar is compatible with Bontrager clip-ons and aero brake levers, and it uses internal cable routing for a slippery, low-drag profile. And, it boasts a 31.8mm clamp diameter for stiffness that kicks in every time you accelerate.
Vola Team Stealth Essential is a lower-cost model of the award-winning Vola range. It's a complete starter package sharing the same architecture as Vola Team and based on the same 38cm-wide carbon fiber basebar. A super-low position favored by crono specialists is possible with extension clamps mounted on the underside of the basebar. Alternatively, extensions can be mounted above the basebar. Arm pad stack height above the stem centerline ranges from 30mm in the low position to 67mm in the top-mounted position. Width between the new comfort arm pads ranges 220–340mm, measured at pad outer edge. Arm pad reach can be set 20–70mm ahead of the basebar center, measured at pad front edge. Package includes alloy S-bend extensions, width extenders, and stiffness bridge. Riser kits, available as 3T spares, further raise stack height by up to 30mm. All-up weight of Vola Essential is just 700g. Finish with Team Stealth graphics.
Everybody loves to talk about the aerodynamics of aerobars and — guilty as charged — we also like all the work that went into finding the most aero shapes. But all of that is meaningless if the bars don’t put you in an aero and comfortable position (and in the end, comfort = aero as it allows you to stay in your aero position longer). To that effect, the Vola combines with a standard stem for the widest range of set-ups, has lots of stack, width and reach adjustment and the most comfortable elbow pads we have ever designed. - Wing material: Unidirectional carbon - Extension material: Alloy - Cradle material: Alloy - Pad material: Neoprene - Base bar width (c-c): 380mm - Outside pad width: 240-340mm - Center pad width: 130-230mm - Pad stack: 30-97mm - Pad reach: 20-70mm - Clamp diameter: 31.8mm - Extensions: S-bend - Cradle: New comfort - Weight: 810g (minimum stack) - Finish: Stealth black
The bullhorn bar was introduced to the cycling world by 3T on Francesco Moser’s hour record bikes. Its design principle hasn’t significantly changed since, until now. The Revo seems so obvious, now, providing a better, safer and more powerful grip for the rider. Then again, good ideas always seem obvious after the fact. Revo is the first-ever aerobar to attach the basebar wing to the front of the grips instead of the back, literally changing aerobar design 180°. The advantages are clear: - The rider’s hands cannot slide forwards off the grips, so it’s safer and easier to use at all times - It offers better grip and handling on tough descents, rough roads and sketchy turns - It improves aerodynamics — the basebar wing has a sharper angle of attack with the free air flow than standard basebars - Wing material: Unidirectional carbon - Extension material: Alloy - Cradle material: Alloy - Pad material: Neoprene - Base bar width (c-c): 400mm - Outside pad width: 240-340mm - Center pad width: 130-230mm - Pad stack: 30-97mm - Pad reach: 20-70mm - Grip inside reach: 72mm - Grip drop: 46mm - Clamp diameter: 31.8mm - Extensions: S-bend - Cradle: New comfort - Weight: 770g (minimum stack) - Finish: Stealth black or black with red accents
