We're selling a very lightly used DT Swiss XR 1501 Spline One 25 29" XD driver demo wheelset with Vittoria Mezcal 29x2.25 tubeless tires installed . These wheels are practically new with only a few tiny scratches in the black rim finish. The tires are also basically new with the tire hairs (vent spews) still all intact. These wheels are set up tubeless and only need a bit of sealant added and they're ready to roll.
Responding to the demand from top racers for even wider rims, DT have developed an XC-specific 25mm-wide rim profile. This is what's built into the XR 1501 SPLINE ONE 25. The result is a super capable, super light Cross Country wheel. It feels perfectly at home on the trails that have become tougher and rougher both up and down the mountain. And built with DT Swiss quality in every detail, from the hub internals to the spoke nipple, it makes sure you complete all the laps, weekend after weekend.
The Mezcal is the versatile all-rounder that gets you to the podium, time after time. Ride a combination of terrain? This is the choice of the pros. The Mezcal features a unique low-profile tread that is tightly spaced in the center, for low rolling resistance and durability. Countless effective edges work together to grip on a variety of terrain, while directional siping on each knob make traction in the roots and rocks.

Going tubeless allows you to run lower tire pressures without the added weight of a tube. Lower tire pressure has many benefits, including greater traction, lower rolling resistance over rough surfaces, and decreased risk of a puncture-related flat.
Tubeless-ready rims and tires are parts of a complete system that eliminate the need for tubes by creating an airtight chamber between the rim and tire. Liquid sealant is added to the chamber to fill small punctures and maintain air pressure while you ride.
UST (Universal Standard for Tubeless) is a specific type of tubeless system that dictates the shape of the rim and tire beads. UST rims should be paired with UST-specific tires for best results.
