Good product, would buy again.

About Me

Comments:

Ignore the negative reviews about this kit. To switch the adapter, you must remove the cap on the head of the pump, pull out the rubber seal, let the plastic "pusher" to fall out, reverse the plastic piece and reinstall, then replace the rubber seal in the reverse orientation, finishing by replacing the cap to hold the assembly in place. I had to look at it carefully to figure it out, but it's pretty simple once you figure it out.

Easy to switch from Schrader to Presta. You can't go wrong with the Flat Pack.

Good kit

About Me

Comments:

Good combination with tools, pump, and patches. This kit works with both schrader and presto valves. You have to pull out the valve and reverse it for it to work on presto valves. Had to figure it out on my own but it does work as designed.

Cheap Pump Schrader Valve Only, Not Both

About Me

Comments:

You'd think Bontrager would have made a pump that has Presta in mind, being what's newer and on most bikes... it's not the case. I'd get the Flat Pack with compressed air cans. This seems to be the newer Bontrager Flat Pack.

False advertising: no coupon included!

By

About Me

Comments:

I bought this pack because I wanted to have a convenient set of tire-repair tools on my bicycle. The pump and tire levers are lightweight and appear to be of decent quality. However, the promised coupon for a spare tube was nowhere to be found in the package. When I contacted Bontrager's customer service department, they refused to accept responsibility for this, and actually had the audacity to blame the shop that sold me the product. This would be a four-star product, but two stars have been deducted for Bontrager's false advertising and/or poor customer service.
