Indoor Cycling Sessions

Join us for our indoor cycling classes!
Running every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday starting Wednesday, November 29th 2017 until Wednesday March 28th 2018. It's the perfect way to keep your fitness up over the wretched winter months.

The winter can be cruel to cyclists and it’s often hard to stay motivated and even harder to stay fit.  We know this struggle all too well. This winter we’re offering spinning options to keep your fitness up and your motivation maxed.  Whether you are looking for an alternative to a gym routine, aiming to be ready to ride for spring or want to train for the race season, we’ll get your legs spinning in the right direction.  All you need is a road bike and a trainer tire, we provide the trainer.

This year we're expanding our indoor offering by both adding new earlier classes and by putting together a structured program to focus on best preparing you for Spring 2018.  Our indoor season will be 16 weeks long starting November 29th. The weeks will be split into 4 section of build for 3 weeks and recover for one week. The goal through the season is to increase the intensity and duration of the workouts to build fitness so when we hit the road/trail in early April the transition will be easy-peasy.

We use Tacx Satori Smart magnetic trainers that are Bluetooth, ANT+ ready. Pair them with your smartphone to get speed, distance, power and cadence while you ride.  Bring along your tablet or cycling computer to take the data from your ride home with you.

Choose from our weekly  Wednesday Hump Day Evening Ride, Tuesday and Thursday Morning Pre-work Rides, Saturday Morning Women's Only Ride or our 90 Minute Sun Morning Ride. Our highly trained, upbeat and incredibly friendly instructors are just waiting to push your limits, whatever they may be.

Our Instructors

Rob West
With over 25 years of triathlon, road and mountain bike racing experience, Rob will be leading the bulk of our indoor cycling sessions.  A seven time Ironman Finisher and leader of our Wednesday evening road rides, he knows what needs to get done in order to maintain or even better yet improve your fitness this winter. Rob's energetic personality and well thought out indoor cycling routines will easily have you reach your goals come spring time.

Megz Jackman
Megz leads our women's road rides and is an avid mountain biker and runner. She just trained for and completed her fifth half marathon and raced on the Sweet Pete's 24 Hour MTB Race Team the past few seasons. Megz is very familair with our indoor cycling sessions having participated in them all of last year. She's now using her always positive attitude, high energy and strong fitness to lead our Saturday morning "Women's ONLY" indoor sessions.

 

What to Bring
• Your bike with a trainer tire on it
• It is recommended to have clip in shoes and pedals or athletic shoes and toe cages
• Water bottle
• Towel
• Cycling shorts
• Tablet or Cycling Computer to take data from the ride home with you
